Chef - The ideal candidate will be able to create a casual/creative menu with a few upscale dinner offerings and oversee all culinary operations. The responsibility of the chef will be to prepare meals, ensure excellent food quality and presentation, ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation standards and regulation, purchase all food items, complete inventories, oversee kitchen staff productivity and performance, implement policies and procedures, control food and labor costs and overall profitability, create and implement menu selections based on current food trends and regional tastes, assist in monitoring and developing kitchen staff performance including providing supervision, conducting evaluations, training, scheduling and assigning work.

Salary range $35,000 to $45,000 based on experience. Quarterly bonus plan and PTO after 1 year of service.
Experience - Previous full service restaurant kitchen, supervisory/management experience in a quality establishment required. Experience opening a new restaurant helpful.
Local - This position reports to the owner. Only people who will live within a reasonable commute will be considered.
